While many of the dinosaur fossils found recently in northeast China seem to provide evidence of the kinship between dinosaurs and birds, the wealth of enigmatic fossils seem more likely at this stage that they will inflame debates over the origin of birds rather than settle them.

以原句为核心去改: seem more likely at this stage that they will inflame debates over the origin of birds rather than 1.seem应为seems 2.likely at this stage that they will应改为likely at this stage to inflame 3. more...rather than不对,要改为more...than..

为什么at this stage 就一定要放在more likely 的后面呢?

如果放在birds后面,那就是 birds at this stage,"在这个时候的鸟类",原句意思是more likely at this stage,“这个时候更可能”

c的解释是, 唯一的错误是 at the stage 的位置不对, c是用来修饰 original of the birds, 但是at the state 应该修饰 seems.
