【OG20-P590-701题】Last year a record number of new manufacturing jobs were created. Will this year bring another record? Well, any new manufacturing Job is created either within an existing company or by the start-up of a new company. Within existing firms, new jobs have been created this year at well below last years record pace. At the same time, there is considerable evidence that the number of new companies starting up will be no higher this year than it was last year and there is no reason to think that the new companies starting up this year will create more jobs per company than did last year's start-ups. So clearly, the number of new jobs created this year will fall short of last years record.

请问文中 there is no reason to think…这里不能看作否定吗？

这里不能单看there is no reason就否定，而是要看这句话的意思和观点是否一致。（没理由认为B会增加就业就会——B不会增加就业机会）A不会增加，B也不会增加，那么总体C就不会增加。B支持了C，观点一致。

题型：Boldface 黑体题方法： 1、有没有转折词或连接词 - 找关系（黑体与黑体之间的关系、每个黑体与main conclusion之间的关系） 2、有没有表主客观词语 - 找属性（主观还是客观） 3、找方向（是先讲条件再讲结论还是先讲结论再讲条件）逻辑链：will...? + well, 第1个黑体 + at the same time + so clearly后面引导main conclusion，也就是第2个黑体（整个逻辑链没有转折词，没有反驳关系，都是顺承的）根据逻辑链可以得出： 1、两个黑体是顺承关系，互相support 2、只有第2个黑体是main conclusion，而第1个黑体是support main conclusion的premise、basis
