A：and 后面的 to make 在前面并没有相应的结构与之对应
B：correct， to distinguish和 to make 平行，ability 后面接to do 固定搭配
C：They 存在指代歧义，前面还有其他复数名词sounds 和words
D：and 后面result in not making 在前文并没有发现与之平行的结构
E：ability to do 固定搭配， being结构冗余
hints： and开放平行注意前后对象结构一致问题，ability 后面只能加to do不定式结构。

that it hampers the ability of some children to distinguish ..............., to make......... 妨害小孩 干这个....和干那个..... D有改变原意的意思。 GMAT SC 其实就是猜句意 你猜的越准 就越能知道哪一个是正确选项。 有时候有些选项 甚至和Gmat 语法冲突 但是官方就是官方 它说什么都对 猜句意。。。 希望可以对你有帮助

解析D有些草率的感觉呢；it hampers the ability of some children to distinguishing discrete sounds and words,and results in not making sense of speech. 将hampers 和 results 结构平行，句子意思由原意“日常快速会话节奏阻碍了孩子区分不连续声音和单词的能力和，由此(阻碍了孩子的能力)搞懂讲话”变为 “日常快速会话节奏阻碍了孩子区分不连续声音和单词的能力，和（日常快速会话节奏 ）导致没搞懂讲话”。 由此可以看出，从句的主语由“孩子的能力”变为“日常快速会话节奏“导致歧义产生 SC的原则是改正、改善句子结构，不能改变句原意。

A it 后面是一个句子。所以组成了两个句子 中间没有；也没有，and ❌ B C ，SVO 原则性错误 D and results 后面是介词词组 结构上 hampers后面是名词，结构上不对。且意思上，results in 的发出者是it it是pace，pace 不能make sense 意思上不对 E as to 什么鬼？。。
