RON讲过，在发现这一题是考平行结构的时候，不要从左往右读，从右往左找平行指示词后相应对应的部分。在去掉对第一个插入语the author of 【both Prehistoric Textiles】进行解释和修饰的插入语2a comprehensive work on cloth in the early cultures of the Mediterranean之后，句子现在剩下插入语1和3，即：

both A and B 是封闭平行,A和B要完全平行；A and B平行，根据ron的说法，一定从右到左看，只需要保证右边的部分在左边有对应就可以了。

我说一下我的看法，我是这样理解的。and前后要independent classes，后面的句子你加了of，看上去和前面平行，但是前面of前修饰了of后的名词。逗号隔开 加and表并列。后面加of你没有modifier修饰。 这是我的理解
