Until a few centuries ago, any large bones discovered in the fields or caves of Europe, now known to be large prehistoric animals, were usually assumed to be the remains of giants and were often displayed as curiosities in castles, palaces, town halls, churches, and monasteries.
选项A known修饰 large bones,large bones 是large prehistoric animals,错误
选项B known as sth. 后面接from错误;
选项D those of 多余; as 后面of错误
选项E those of 多余;

这题我不知道assume as还是assume to be,但是我先根据句意排除掉D、E,因为最后没有those of。ABC里的前半部分都是需要修饰主语any large bones,两者之间隔着discovered in the fields or caves of Europe这么长的东西,所以前面修饰部分以bones开头最好。

In Beijing they are known as “the mouse tribe(在北京他们被成为鼠组) known to 是“为… Her fault was nwo known to everyone.

A:不能是large bones... known to be large prehistoric animals,一个说bone一个说animals,他们应该是从属关系,动物的骨头,排除,还剩C

I eat more apples from America than those from the UK 就是虽然是同种物品,但是范围是不一样的,这也是他和直接代词it和they最关键的区别:The market of the US perfroms better than that of the UK 就不能说 better than it does in UK 因为范围不同导致了that指代的东西和原来的东西是不一样的;但是这里,用同位语解释any large bones evacuated.., known as those of large animals,总是觉得不太妥当;肯定可以确定的事 known to be from large animals, 肯定更合理,但是没有这样的选项。
