The number who have been vaccinated against both is twice the number who have been vaccinated only against mumps. If 5,000 have been vaccinated against both, how many have been vaccinated only against rubella?

那么打了mumps的学生是7500，打了rebella的学生是15000
15000-5000=10000就是只打了rubella的学生

把这题想简单了……不是r=2m，r+m=2m。要注意only的意思。总共接种r疫苗的包括两种疫苗都接种的和只接种r疫苗的。

Use a single variable as far as possible. Number vaccinated only against mumps = x Number vaccinated against both = 2x = 5000 (so x = 2500) Then, number vaccinated against mumps (including both) = x + 2x = 3x Number vaccinated against rubella = 2*3x = 6x Then, number vaccinated against only rubella = 6x - 2x = 4x = 4*2500 = 10,000 Answer (C)

考试遇到这种好烦，只要题意弄清楚其实就是加减法。R+B=2(B+M) B=2M B=5000 这几个条件是题干给的，得出M=2500 那R+5000=2*7500 R=10000

r=2m, both = 2(only m), both= 5000, ∴ only m=2500，m=2500+5000=7500，r=15000，only r = r-both=15000-5000=10000

VM=VOM+VMR, VR=VOR+VMR 已知VMR=5000, VMR=2VOM,VR=2VM, 求VOR VMR=5000,so VOM=2500, VM =7500 so VR=15000, VOR=15000-5000=10000
