选A是因为很对称，不必用选B选项的定从，因为有点冗长了 convert gasoline-powered trucks to (trunks) run on cleaner-burning natural gas 这里run作为过去分词修饰trunks B选项用在其他地方也是可以的，不要太死板，举个逻辑里经典题目的栗子： " A new store has opened at the location of every store in the shopping district that closed because it can't compete with Colson's" 这里先行词为every store，然后紧跟介词短语，其次就是that限制性定从，it也代指every store

但是不是汽油的车不就是不需要convert吗？这里原句意不就是说转化汽油车不就行啦，肯定有别的动力车，这么解释的话A也算是给车分类了呀。感觉应该是这里不能跳跃修饰——跳跃修饰是有条件的，附网址讲解跳跃修饰！ https://forum.chasedream.com/thread-1251311-1-1.html

定语从句可以跳跃修饰，如果定语从句就是修饰有歧义的话。 但官方的解析是： the introduction of the relative clause that are powered by gasoline is unnecessarily awkward, especially because the relative pronoun is not adjacent to its'antecedent trucks

B 的问题，in LA area that 本身没错，定语从句可以跳过修饰先行词的介宾短语。这里不是跳跃修饰。 B的问题在于 trucks in LA are that are powered by gasoline. 这是一个限定性定语从句，直接给trucks分类了，特指那些汽油车，意思是还有一些不是汽油的车，不convert。 这个不符合句意。要排。

that引导的限制性定语从句是不可以跳跃修饰的，which引导的非限制性定语从句可以跳跃修饰。当然，可以从语义角度理解更好啦

that引导的限制性定语从句不存在是否跳跃修饰的问题。在gmac官方里，名词词组可以作为一个整体从而被that修饰，看起来类似跳跃修饰，实则是被gmac官方默认的用法。这点在前面og20官方题库的正确选项中可以看到。
