C:are dotting
则对比A和E,them离谁比较近,
Harvey X
Harvey X

错题1反思:我他妈我是眼瞎了没看见了D选项这里many of which are chiseled from solid rock centuries ago! 还有E选项后面many of them chiseled from solid rock centuries ago.

luluan
原句:The mountainous regions山区of northern Ethiopia are dotted with装点了hundreds of monasteries修道院, many of them chiseled凿 from solid rock centuries ago. D和E对比,many of which/them是假考点,两者都可代指前面的monasteries,many of which做非限制性定从,many of them做独立主格; D:are chiseled时态错误,应该用一般过去时,有明显的centuries ago时间暗示;

many of which和many of them都可以指代monasteries,区别是D多了一个are,变成两个句子,中间却没有连词,排除D。

a: them指代不清 b:many hundreds of monasteries.赘余,去掉many; c:同位语插入,dot点缀,are dotting错误时态尴尬; d:时态:many of which are chiseled from solid rock centuries ago.
