仔细看,C选项是句意改变了,原文本意是想表达只有一个英国科学家承认了印度科学家,但是选项C曲解为那个英国科学家只承认了印度科学家的一个理论,这个解释跟第一句话没有逻辑性所以是错的

应该是那个C选项的recognize没有宾语修饰不对劲,从语义上理解应该修饰the brilliance,但C选项顶多只算修饰theoreom.

错选c,本以为these指代清楚(theorems),但忘记考虑句意(不可以先说这些theorems好但只有GH识货,而是只有GH识得这些好theorems)。但不太明白为什么后面要加个but,感觉直接thanks to很好啊
