"none could be taken seriously" - 是什么不能被taken seriously? - 不是two psychologist -> 所以逗号不能这样用 -> AB 排除 fail to 的用法 + such as ..

His studies of ice-polished rocks in his Alpine homeland, far outside the range of present-day glaciers, led Louis Agassiz in 1837 to propose the concept of an age in which great ice sheets had existed in now currently temperate areas. A。in which great ice sheets had existed in now currently temperate areas B。in which great ice sheets existed in what are now temperate areas C。when great ice sheets existed where there were areas now temperate D。when great ice sheets had existed in current temperate areas E。when great ice sheets existed in areas now that are temperate 正确答案:B 耗时:92秒 网友解析 A. Now currently语义重复;had done没有时间状语 B. 对,what are now temperate areas做了in的宾语从句 C. Exist in表示存在在某地,不能直接用exist someplace D. Had done没有时间状语。。。。。。?。。。。。。。。。?

a,把谓语变成现在分词做状语变成插入语,主语two Swiss psychologists无谓语,变成了two Swiss psychologists, none could be taken seriously.错 B,such like 搭配错,like只能表比较,举例用such as 和for example。 fail in doing表示做某事失败了,fail to do 某事没能做成。 C,主句主干完整,宾语从句里原因状语从句成分残缺,只有most of the studies(主语)无谓语,变成了since most of the studies, none could be taken seriously. such like 错。 E,对变量 variables进行举例,就是variables such as social class and family size。主句完整,宾从里的主干none could be taken seriously,宾从里的原因状从since most of the studies had failed to control for variables主干完整。

such variables as social class and family size和variables such as social class and family size是都可以吗?

Joyce L
D 真的是因为such..like排除吗?
