Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi, in the form of carbon dioxide, and converting it to energy-rich sugars.

分析C选项
分析D选项
分析E选项
考点:平行。当前版本由 唱跳rap篮球 更新于2019-07-09 18:07:01 感谢由 唱跳rap篮球 对此题目的解答所做出的贡献。
选项分析
A. 主系表结构的比较后面的are多余;后面的in the form of carbon dioxide错误的修饰了fungi;converting应当与acquiring平行。
B. 比较对象错误同A。修饰错误同A。
C. 正确。
D. ", more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon,"作为插入语,使得句子没有谓语东西,并且and没有平行对象。
E. 比较对象错误同A。修饰错误同A。
考点分析:修饰语+句子结构
选项分析:A:注意看未划线部分in the form of是插入语,修饰就近名词,然而根据语义这个插入语不可能修饰fungi,应该是修饰acquiring carbon这个动作,系表结构的比较可以把are省略
B:同A
C:correct,系表结构的比较中省略了are,in the form的插入语很好地修饰了acquiring carbon
D:句子结构不完整,缺少核心谓语
E:缺少和未划线部分and converting平行的结构
hints:注意看未划线部分的修饰到底修饰谁,系表结构的比较可以省略系动词

fungi不认识想了半天是跟plants对比还是跟carbon对比。。fingi是真菌,这里是说植物吸收CO2要比真菌吸收CO2更高效。
kaoyei
in the form of fungi , 介词先考虑做adj修饰前面carbon
FFFF_FLORA
这里ABC的说法都没有语法上的错误,但是注意后面的“in the form of carbon dioxide”应该是修饰“carbon”的,所以不能把fungi放在逗号前面。 (A) Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi or Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than fungi are (at acquiring carbon) (B) Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than fungi (are at acquiring carbon) (C) Plants are more efficient than fungi at acquiring carbon

现在的解释直接照抄考满分了吗??? 怪不得有些解析看起来如此生硬~~~
默默
carbon 和 fungi 是没有可比性的
默默
比较词前后两个名次为对比关系
木4
注意修饰对象
fuksurgen
A中的are去掉才是错的 会有歧义 使得fungi和carbon对比 而不是和原意的plants对比
我初初见你
解析有一点说错了, Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than are fungi, 这个本身是没有错的.因为把Plants are more efficient at acquiring carbon than fungi are 里面的are提到了fungi前面。错就错在后面的一坨是用来修饰carbon的,所以A选项错!

我觉得是根据后面的同位语in the form of carbon dioxide排除了ABE,因为这是要修饰carbon的而不是fungi D缺谓语 因此选C
YAYA704回复windsky91
感觉d好像句子结构发生变化,变成了修饰

见过夏天去非洲拍动物世界
此题两个关键点,①对比的是plants和fungi ②in the form of carbon dioxide修饰的是carbon,而不是fungi。 所以A选项错在in the form of carbon dioxide前面是fungi,而are fungi中的are加在这里是需要的,避免歧义(根据Manhattan语法)。
见过夏天去非洲拍动物世界
The sentence construction needs to make clear that plants and fungi are the two topics being compared, and it must also clarify that in the form of carbon dioxide refers to carbon rather than to either plants or fungi. (A) According to the sentence grammar, in the form of carbon dioxide describes fungi, which is nonsensical. (B) This sentence claims that plants acquire carbon more efficiently than they acquire fungi, which is also nonsensical; the form of carbon dioxide still modifies fungi. (C) Correct. The sentence clearly compares plants to fungi, and in the form of carbon dioxide correctly modifies carbon. (D) This sentence is grammatically incomplete; there is no verb for the subject plants. (E) As in (B), this sentence claims that plants acquire carbon more efficiently than they acquire fungi; it is also grammatically incomplete because and converting does not clearly refer to anything.
