个人认为and前后是平行结构,and不是用来连接两个句子的。 shown前面省略了have,但如果要把they保留的话(they指studies)为什么不把have一并留出来?那样的话showed也应该是shown。所以CD都不对。 而AB的their指谁?按理说应该指人,但这句话并没有出现“人”无论是主语还是宾语。前面的population还是个studies的定语(或者说修饰)。所以AB也不对。

DE主要的问题是不构成并列,Many population studies have linked/they showed,一个是现在完成一个是一般过去

我觉得 they showed that,最大的问题不是指代错误,they 可以指代 studies啊。 错在and后面是一个完整的句子了,and前面要打逗号的。
