Studies in restaurants show that the tips left by customers who pay their bill in cash tend to be larger when the bill is presented on a tray that bears a credit card logo. Consumer psychologists hypothesize that simply seeing a credit-card logo makes many credit card holders willing to spend more because it reminds them that their spending power exceeds the cash they have immediately available.
Which of the following, if true, most strongly supports the psychologists' interpretation of the studies?
逻辑链:logo提醒他们有更多的支配空间----所以给的多;
gap(如果没有logo提醒他们,他们是不是还会一样给的多)

B 有卡债压力的人看到标记会付更少的小费; 取非选项, 经济能力弱的人看到标记会少付,那么觉得自己支付能力好的人看到标记会多付,弱相关,增强,其他没有更好的选项,正确hypothesize that simply seeing a credit-card logo makes many credit card holders willing to spend more because it reminds them that their spending power exceeds the cash they have immediately available.

讨论的是spending power 和 tip之间的关系; more spending power --- pay more 反面:less spending power --- pay less,加强

somisomi
tips left by customers who pay their bill in cash tend to be larger when the bill is presented on a tray that bears a credit card logo.
