对这道题,我的看法如下: (1)used for predicting表示目的,必须用to do,这个是Manhattan里面的,不能用for doing表示目的; (2)the effect of 做主语,应该用单数is,不能用are (3)选项E除了for doing表示目的错了之外,还有一个错误,the ocean white caps have已经有谓语动词have了,后面的is也是谓语动词,一个句子出现两个谓语,所以是错的
